Warren MacKenzie (1924–2018) was a leading figure in American studio pottery, known for functional stoneware shaped by his apprenticeship with Bernard Leach, the Mingei tradition, and his long career in Minnesota. A highly influential teacher as well as a potter, MacKenzie helped establish Minnesota as an important center for American functional ceramics.
