Don Johns monumental slab vase with graphic imagery and wheel thrown neck and rim. Johns was a midcentury Illinois potter who exhibited at the Syracuse Ceramic Nationals and later worked in North Carolina. He's known for unconventional forms and bold graphic surfaces.
